Today we have joined Adventures In The Great Wide Somewhere Shorts Saturday Blog Hop. This week’s prompt is “I budget for Disney by….” in less than 50 words.
We budget for Disney in many ways. One way is by using the Disney Visa card for all our monthly payments and paying it off every month. We also have a change jar that we use for our son’s spending money. And buying Disney gift cards when we have extra cash.
How do you budget for Disney? Hop through and see how other do it….
This week’s prompt: Earliest Disney Memory (100 words or less)
My earliest Disney park memories go back to the early days of Walt Disney World. Each year our extended family would rent a large RV and stuff it with supplies. We would set out early in the morning for the 20 hour trip from northern Indiana to the WDW property. Of course, I would always try to stay awake, but could never make it. When we arrived at the Fort Wilderness check in we would wake everyone up. Our next stop was the Magic Kingdom and my first ride, If You Had Wings.
This week’s prompt: My Disney Resolution (100 words or less)
– Continue to add reviews, pictures, and videos to complete Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom Portions of our site to finish off Disney World.
– Add our Disneyland, Adventures by Disney, and Aulani reviews, pictures, and videos to the site.
– To have an amazing time on our Disney Cruise to Alaska in June while running the ship out of ice cream.
– Get to the parks as much as possible to wear out our Annual Pass Magic Bands.
– Try a new restaurant and meal on each trip.
– Continue to explore my Disney Side
It’s time for Shorts Saturday brought to us by Adventures in the Great Wide Somewhere. Every week, the blog hop shares a short and sweet version of our Disney love as we answer Disney related questions.
This week’s question is “3 Alternate Names for My Blog”
A Mouthful of Disney – everything I talk about usually leads me to Disney food.
I Want to Live in Disney – we all would love to be there every day, we use the blog to keep our Disney love alive when we are not in the parks.
It’s a Disney After All – Everything we do leads us back to Disney.
What would you name our site?
This week’s question:
“My Dream Vacation <100 Words”
For my dream vacation I would rent a park out each day for 3 hours and experience all the attractions and food along the way. Being that I can’t pull
that off. I would stay at my favorite resort, the Poly, for a week. During the week I would experience some of the tours still on our bucket list such as the Wild Africa Trek. Then head out on the Panama Canal Disney Cruise. Spend 15 amazing days at sea unplugged from the world in the Walt Disney Suite ordering room service from the Palo.
Sorry I’m late – had server issues this weekend.
This week’s question:
“Favorite Park or Ship and Why <50 Words”
Anytime this question comes up I always head back to the Magic Kingdom. As a young child our visits to Disney World meant time with our family at Fort Wilderness Campground and the one and only park, Magic Kingdom. Memories and Magic make the Magic Kingdom our favorite park.
