Welcome to this week’s Favorite Food Friday where we share our favorite foods with our friends. This week we head to one of our favorite places on Earth, Aulani. I’m a big fan of buffalo chicken so I couldn’t pass up the chance to grab a Buffalo Chicken “Dog” while lounging at the pool. This is the perfect mix of spice and ranch to keep the tongue from burning ever so much. The portion size was perfect for a small meal or afternoon snack.

Our Favorite Food This Week: Pineapple Dog
Location: Epcot Flower and Garden Festival, Pineapple Promenade

Welcome to this week’s Favorite Food Friday where we share our favorite foods with our friends. Well here we are at the end of this years Epcot Flower and Garden Festival. We hope you had the chance to experience the beautiful flowers and more importantly try out the food. Each year is filled with such an amazing array of new food items and the best part is they are sample size so you have an excuse to try as many as possible. This year we tried the Pineapple Dog at the Pineapple Promenade, you will notice that the first word in the description is “Spicy” – holy moly Batman that is putting it mildly, our dog was on fire. The addition of the Sriracha mayo added to the fire, so we smeared a bit of that off and were able to enjoy the dog and the sweetness of the Pineapple Chutney. If you like some spice in your life, be sure to give this a try but keep water handy.

Our Favorite Food This Week: Joe’s Artisanal Pizza
Location: Tony’s Town Square, Magic Kingdom
Cost: $16.99
Welcome to this week’s Favorite Food Friday where we share our favorite foods with our friends. Reading reviews online many people go back and forth on liking Tony’s Town Square, but we have had good experiences in the times we have stopped here for a bite to eat. On this occasion I selected a Joe’s Artisanan Pizza, this pizza was packed full of flavor and covered with Italian Sausage, Pepperoni, Peppers, and Onions. Overall I enjoyed this pizza and would order it again. Tony’s is definitely one of the easier restaurants to get into, so give it a chance on your next trip.

Our Favorite Food This Week: Citrus Swirl

Welcome to this week’s Favorite Food Friday where we share our favorite foods with our friends. Many people ask what my favorite snack is at the Magic Kingdom, my answer is always the Citrus Swirl. Their next question is, well what about the Dole Whip? While the dole whip is good, I’m not that big of a fan of Pineapple as I am of Orange. <<gasp>> Yeah I know. Maybe it also goes back to when I was young boy at the park, my family would always head back to visit the Orange Bird, get a citrus swirl and an orange drink. We didn’t get many souvenirs, but I always left with an Orange Bird cup that I would cherish for many months after our visit. Today, even in its new location, I still love the Citrus Swirl. Our Favorite Food This Week: Chicken Wings
Location: Disney Wonder – Room Service

Welcome to this week’s Favorite Food Friday where we share our favorite foods with our friends. Food is everywhere as you cruise with Disney. But one thing we have to do at least once on each cruise is to order room service. It’s as easy as pressing the little foodie button on the phone in your room and your cookies and milk before bed are delivered. On this occasion I got the chicken wings. The wings are covered in a spicy wing sauce and served with celery, carrots, and both ranch and blue cheese dressings. Just like everything else on the cruise the wings were very good and a great addition to hanging out on your balcony.

Our Favorite Food This Week: Cinnamon-glazed Almonds
Location: Food Carts, we found ours in Adventureland near the Magic Carpets
Cost: $4.75
Welcome to this week’s Favorite Food Friday where we share our favorite foods with our friends. What’s that smell, where is it coming from, these are often words you will hear as the food carts fire up the cinnamon glazed Almonds. These almonds are coated with sugary goodness, but they still classify as a healthy snack in my eyes. Just be careful of the final pieces at the bottom of the cone, some of these are just the candy cinnamon and don’t contain an almond, these pieces are very hard and we don’t want any broken teeth. The Cinnamon-glazed almonds can be found at food carts throughout Walt Disney World. Enjoy!
