Welcome to Favorite Food Friday where we share our favorite foods. Hollywood Studios is our destination today, just couple more months before this park is filled to the brim with Star Wars fans :). The Chocolate Banana Cream Almond Crisp is a mouthful to say and a treasure trove of textures. The top is a chocolate mousse a cake in the middle and crispies on the bottom. Overall the look at the textures of this dessert is awesome, as for the flavor, it could have used a bit more. I was expecting bold chocolate and banana flavors, but we mainly got banana. Overall it was just ok, it was a large dessert so if you are looking for a large banana dessert this might just be it. What your favorite dessert at Hollywood Studios???
Our Favorite Food This Week: Taco Trio Location: Pacos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe – Magic Kingdom Price: $10.99 (DDP)
Welcome to Favorite Food Friday where we share our favorite foods. For some reason today I have been craving the Taco Trio at Pacos Bill at the Magic Kingdom. I think it may have something to do with the Fixin’s Bar where you can customize your taco just how you like it. The Taco Trio is of course 3 tacos of your choice, you can choose from seasoned ground beef, seasoned chicken, pork carnitas or spicy breaded cauliflower topped with five-spice yogurt and pineapple salsa. My favorites are the ground beef and pork. At the fixin’s bar you can add shredded cheese, sour cream, lettuce, salsa and more. As you can see in the picture we also usually grab some chips to share on the side. What’s your favorite Peco’s Bill meal????
Our Favorite Food This Week: Vanilla Ice Cream Churro Sandwich Location: Sleepy Hollow Refreshments, Liberty Square, Magic Kingdom Price: $6.49
Welcome to Favorite Food Friday where we share our favorite foods. This week we head over to the Magic Kingdom to once again check out a dessert. This one combines two of my favorite food groups Ice Cream and Churros. It’s the Vanilla Ice Cream Churro Sandwich at Sleepy Hollow Refreshments at the entrance of Liberty Square. Move over PB&J, we have a new sandwich in town! Well, that is if you can eat it like a sandwich :). Our sandwich was stuffed with ice cream and there was no way to get your mouth around it. So we resorted to a knife and fork. I will say it got better as the ice cream melted and the churro softened as it absorbed the ice cream, the cinnamon from the churro flavored the ice cream as well. Overall this was a wonderful dessert and definitely will be on our list of things to enjoy on a hot day at the Magic Kingdom. Do you have a favorite Magic Kingdom Dessert???
