Would you like to dine like Anna and Elsa? What kind of food would they have eaten? We decided to test our cooking skills on these traditional Norwegian dishes.
Breakfast
For breakfast we found Norwegian Pancakes on AllRecipes.com.
The simple ingredients are 3 Eggs, 1 ½ cups milk, 1 cup flour, ¼ teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon sugar, couple drops of vanilla.
Combine all ingredients in a blender and mix until smooth.
Heat a skillet over medium heat and coat with butter or spray. Add batter to the skillet and tilt pan to just coat the bottom. Pour out any excess. Cook until the top looks dry, around 30 seconds. Flip to cook the other side, again a few seconds will do to brown the other side. Remove and serve with jam or cream cheese filling. We also liked adding a bit of whipped cream to top it off.

Lunch
For our lunch we decided to try a Seafood Bisque. We found this great site http://www.norway-hei.com/ with traditional Norwegian recipes. And although we used the recipe as a guideline, we also tweaked it a bit to fit our needs.
We used Smoked Salmon (which we purchased while on our Disney Alaskan cruise) and Salad shrimp. Because both were ready to eat, we didn’t have to worry about cooking them. We also added about 2 ounces of cream cheese just to sweeten it up. It’s an easy recipe and even if you add more or less of any of the ingredients, it will most likely turn out just fine. We loved ours.

I’m not a big fan of seafood bisque, but that pancake looks delightful!
Such yummy treats! Personally, anything with Jarlsberg cheese floats my Norwegian boat. (But boy, that crepe looks good!!)
I don’t do seafood, but those pancakes sure look yummy! I’m thinking a mixture of jam & cream cheese would be perfect.
Those pancakes look yummy! Can these be ordered at the Norway pavilion at Epcot?
