This week’s Wordless Wednesday theme is Nature in honor of this weekend’s Earth Day. There is so much nature at Animal Kingdom it even spills over into their light poles and statues throughout the park.
Hidden Mickey – Animal Kingdom
Our Hidden Mickey this week comes from the Animal Kingdom. As you are running from Kilimanjaro Safaris to Expedition Everest you will pass this building as you leave Africa and enter Asia. This building is the home to bathrooms, but have you taken any time to look at the items that other travelers have left hanging on the building? You just might spot a Hidden Mickey like the one we have found below.

Welcome to this week’s Favorite Food Friday where we share our favorite foods with our friends. This week we go for a classic snack – a hand dipped milk shake at the Animal Kingdom. Yes these are hand dipped and mixed rather than coming from a shake machine and they are oh soo good on a hot day at the park. The one downfall here is the paper straws. I was only about half way through my shake before the straw started to disintegrate. So be sure to grab a couple straws if you get one.

Hidden Mickey Monday: Maharajah Jungle Trek
Our Hidden Mickey this week comes from the Maharajah Jungle Trek at the Animal Kingdom. The walking paths at the Animal Kingdom are many times skipped over by guests. These paths are amazingly themed and offer some great up close experiences with many animals. If you are looking to get away from the crowds for a bit and take in a few more animals, be sure to check them out. And while you are on them, watch out for Hidden Mickey‘s you just might spot one or two. Like in this tiger mural below, can you spot him?
