Hidden Mickey Monday: The Boneyard

Hidden Mickey Monday: The Boneyard

Our Hidden Mickey this week comes from The Boneyard at the Animal Kingdom.   As you enter DinoLand U.S.A. to your left is the entrance to The Boneyard a fun area for kids to burn off some steam and the home to Hidden Mickey’s.     Below are a couple of the Hidden Mickey’s you will find in this area.

Be sure to head across the bridge to the Dinosaur dig area, here you will find a Hidden Mickey made from a large fan and two construction hats conveniently placed.

Boneyard - Hidden Mickey

One of our favorites is a bit tougher to spot.   Head up the stairs for the slides and look to your left, here you will see a table set up for the Paleontologists working at the dig site.   Look real close at the table top.

Boneyard - Hidden Mickey 2

Did you see it?   Someone has forgot their change and look at the shape it made.

Boneyard - Hidden Mickey 3

Hi Mickey!!

We love these types of  Hidden Mickey‘s.   Be sure to stop by our friends at Frontierland Station for one they spotted at Once Upon a Toy.   Have you spotted a Hidden Mickey?    Let us know in the comments below.

Mickey’s Jammin’ Jungle Parade to end in June

Mickey's Jammin' Jungle Parade 072013 - 1

Say it’s not so, one of our all time favorite parades at Walt Disney World will be coming to an end this June 2014.  Mickey’s Jammin’ Jungle Parade has been a feature of the Animal Kingdom since 2001.   As the Animal Kingdom welcomes in the new Pandora (Avatar) area, Disney indicated that work on this area will soon impede on the parade path along with guest viewing areas.    At this point Disney has not announced any replacement for the parade, but we do know that new entertainment is on the way including a nighttime water show.  Fingers crossed that we don’t lose the parade forever as Hollywood Studios did last year.   Will you miss Jammin’ Jungle?   Let us know in the comments below…..
