Favorite Food Friday – Mickey Burger

Favorite Food Friday – Mickey Burger

Our Favorite Food This Week: Mickey Cheeseburger
Location: Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe – Magic Kingdom
Price: $15.97

Welcome to Favorite Food Friday where we share our favorite foods.    I know what you are thinking – man that’s a lot of cheese.   Well, you are right, but it’s also a lot of cheese that is oh so good.   When I saw the cast member putting this on the tray I thought I made a huge mistake.  It actually turned out to be really good, but you may want to grab a fork on the way to your seat.    This burger is covered in macaroni and cheese, American cheese, cheese sauce, and spicy cheese dust.   That’s a lot of cheese in one sentence.    The cheese is not overwhelming as you eat the burger, the one disappointment was the spicy cheese dust – it’s more like a garnish that looks cool.   I did not taste any spice in this dust.  Overall the Mickey burger itself was good and I would order it again, I opted for the green beans instead of fries.    What’s your favorite at Cosmic Rays at the Magic Kingdom???

Favorite Food Friday – Frozen Violet Lemonade

Favorite Food Friday – Frozen Violet Lemonade

Our Favorite Food This Week: Frozen Desert Violet Lemonade
Location: Pineapple Promenade – Epcot Flower and Garden Festival Booth
Price: $4.25 (Snack DDP)

Welcome to Favorite Food Friday where we share our favorite foods.    This past week we spent a day at Epoct enjoying the beautiful Flower and Garden Festival.   As with each year of this Festival, we look forward to the flower arrangements, we also can’t wait to get another Frozen Violet Lemonade.    This frozen drink is sweet, delicious, and an excellent way to cool off in the spring Florida sun.    This has always been one of our favorite items at the Flower and Garden booths, so we are glad it’s back again this year.    It’s so good, even the Undercover Tourist has a recipe you can try at home if you can’t make it to the parks.   Stay tuned over the next couple weeks as we share more of our Flower and Garden treats.    If you have a favorite this year let us know……

Favorite Food Friday – Nutella Waffle Sandwich

Favorite Food Friday – Nutella Waffle Sandwich

Our Favorite Food This Week: Nutella Waffle Sandwich
Location: Sleepy Hollow Refreshments, Liberty Square, Magic Kingdom
Price: $8.29

Welcome to Favorite Food Friday where we share our favorite foods.    This week we are not wondering far from where we were last week and stay at the Magic Kingdom to chat about one of our favorite snacks at the park.   Now called the “Fresh Fruit Waffle Sandwich”, the Nutella Waffle Sandwich is a simple but delicious combination.    Waffle – add Chocolate-Hazelnut Spread (Nutella) – add fresh fruit.   This combination is outstanding, yes you will need a fork or two if you are sharing this one.   The just baked fresh fluffy waffle has great flavor and the fresh fruit is always top notch.   Give this one a try on your next trip – you won’t be disappointed.   Do you have a favorite Magic Kingdom Dessert???

Favorite Food Friday – Vanilla Ice Cream Churro Sandwich

Favorite Food Friday – Vanilla Ice Cream Churro Sandwich

Our Favorite Food This Week: Vanilla Ice Cream Churro Sandwich
Location: Sleepy Hollow Refreshments, Liberty Square, Magic Kingdom
Price: $6.49

Welcome to Favorite Food Friday where we share our favorite foods.    This week we head over to the Magic Kingdom to once again check out a dessert.   This one combines two of my favorite food groups Ice Cream and Churros.    It’s the Vanilla Ice Cream Churro Sandwich at Sleepy Hollow Refreshments at the entrance of Liberty Square.   Move over PB&J, we have a new sandwich in town!   Well, that is if you can eat it like a sandwich :).    Our sandwich was stuffed with ice cream and there was no way to get your mouth around it.   So we resorted to a knife and fork.   I will say it got better as the ice cream melted and the churro softened as it absorbed the ice cream, the cinnamon from the churro flavored the ice cream as well.   Overall this was a wonderful dessert and definitely will be on our list of things to enjoy on a hot day at the Magic Kingdom.   Do you have a favorite Magic Kingdom Dessert???

Hei Hei Ice Cream Cone

Our Favorite Food This Week: Hei Hei Ice Cream Cone
Location: Aloha Isle, Adventureland, Magic Kingdom
Price: $5.29

Welcome to Favorite Food Friday where we share our favorite foods.    This week we head over to the Magic Kingdom to try one of the new themed Ice Cream Cones they have introduced.    We headed over to Aloha Isle to try the Hei Hei inspired Cone from Moana.   Being that I’m not a huge Dole Whip fan I had my doubts that I would enjoy this ice cream cone, but boy was I surprised.   The blue cone is topped with pineapple Dole Whip and Raspberry Soft Serve Ice Cream.   They then place two sugar eyes along with a sour strip to complete Hei Hei.  My wife and I really enjoyed the flavors and the mix will be perfect in the summer heat.   Just have to eat fast as this one is a quick melter.
