Favorite Food Friday – Taco Trio

Our Favorite Food This Week: Taco Trio
Location: Pacos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe – Magic Kingdom
Price: $10.99 (DDP)

Welcome to Favorite Food Friday where we share our favorite foods.    For some reason today I have been craving the Taco Trio at Pacos Bill at the Magic Kingdom.   I think it may have something to do with the Fixin’s Bar where you can customize your taco just how you like it.   The Taco Trio is of course 3 tacos of your choice, you can choose from seasoned ground beef, seasoned chicken, pork carnitas or spicy breaded cauliflower topped with five-spice yogurt and pineapple salsa.  My favorites are the ground beef and pork.   At the fixin’s bar you can add shredded cheese,  sour cream, lettuce, salsa and more.   As you can see in the picture we also usually grab some chips to share on the side.     What’s your favorite Peco’s Bill meal????

Our Favorite Food This Week: Aunt Liz’s Golden Fried Chicken
Location:  50’s Prime Time Cafe – Hollywood Studios (MGM)
Price: $24

Welcome to Favorite Food Friday where we share our favorite foods.    This week we are heading to one of our favorite spots to eat at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, 50’s Prime Time Cafe.   At 50’s Prime Time, everyone is family and you know how much we all love our families :).   You may be scolded for having your elbows on the table, dessert can’t come out till you eat all your veggies, and if you wash your hands make sure you take note of the color of the soap as there may be a quiz later.   This fun family atmosphere allows you to try some of our families favorite recipes including this weeks favorite, Aunt Liz’s Golden Fried Chicken.   Aunt Liz knows how to cook her chicken, the chicken is crisp on the outside and ultra juicy on the inside.    This amazing chicken is accompanied by Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Chicken Gravy, and Seasonal Vegetables.   Overall a great heartwarming meal and one of our favorite chicken meals on property.

Medieval Times

Our Favorite Food This Week: Baked Chicken
Location:  Medieval Times, Orlando
Price: Vaires

Welcome to Favorite Food Friday where we share our favorite foods.    This week we head outside the parks to our favorite Dinner Attraction, Medieval Times.   This spring Medieval Time is celebrating with an all-new show including new costumes, music, and more.   We will have more details over the weekend on our latest visit.    As for the food, first off, don’t expect white table clothes with the finest of China.   That has no place in this Medieval castle.   No fork or spoon included, you are going for it with only your hands for this meal.   Yes, they do provide wet towelettes along with a warm wet cloth to clean up at the end of the meal.   As for the food, it’s your standard medieval fare, a warm cup of tomato bisque with a side of garlic bread starts the meal.   The main includes a moist seasoned roasted chicken, buttered corn, and herb-basted potato.   With the delicious food and show, you can’t go wrong at Medieval Times.

Location:  Pizzafari, Animal Kingdom
Price: $5.99

Welcome to Favorite Food Friday where we share our favorite foods.    This week we head over to the Animal Kingdom, for a treat that’s soon to be one of your favorites.   Look at that cute little guy on the cupcake, so cute you can bite his face off.   The Lion King cupcake is here to welcome in the new Lion King Movie coming to theaters this summer (July 19, 2019).   Be sure to check out the trailer if you haven’t yet.   Looks like it’s going to as amazing as this cupcake.   The moist yellow cake is filled with white chocolate mousse and topped with my favorite sweet buttercream frosting.    Don’t forget Simba, yes, his face is edible but doesn’t add any flavor, so we just took it off to enjoy the rest of this amazing treat.

Liberty Tree Tavern

Our Favorite Food This Week: Liberty Tree Tavern Dinner
Location:  Liberty Tree Tavern – Magic Kingdom
Price: $38 Adult / $21 Child

Welcome to Favorite Food Friday where we share our favorite foods.   I challenge you to read this and not become extremely hungry.   Looking at the picture above, I know what you are thinking.   DayByDay, that’s a lot to digest.   I know it is it, but it’s so good let me tell you……     Liberty Tree Tavern is located in the Magic Kingdom’s Liberty Square, a step back in time to colonial America.   The restaurant atmosphere is on point and you feel as if you are in a New England home.    But once the food starts coming you can put the history lesson behind you and dive in to some traditional comfort food.

The meals begins with serving of warm rolls and a salad, but don’t fill up – here comes the main course.    The Patriot’s Platter, as they call it, is full of turkey breast, pot roast, oven roasted pork, mashed potatoes, seasonal veggies, stuffing, and the famous Disney Mac and Cheese.    This is all you can eat, folks, so taste test it all and ask for more as you find your favorites.    Everything we had was great, but I fell in love with the pot roast and mashed potatoes.   And if that’s not enough the meal is finished with Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake – which i wasn’t sure I was going to like as I’m not a huge toffee fan.   The dessert is vanilla cake with toffee filling, caramel sauce, and vanilla ice cream.   And it was out of this colonial world.    Overall this is at the top of our list of table service restaurants at the Magic Kingdom and can’t wait to visit it again.
