Welcome to this week’s Favorite Food Friday where we share our favorite foods with our friends.   This week we are super excited to bring you our new Favorite Food Friday logo, huge thanks to my brother Shane for putting it together for us.   Let us know what you think in the comment below.

This week we head to Epcot one last time before the end of Flower and Garden Festival and take on the Cronut.   The Cronut is a croissant doughnut tossed in cinnamon sugar and it’s oh so good melting in your mouth amazement.   The layers of the cronut are very buttery and have a somewhat doughy consistency but the mix of the butter and cinnamon is beyond good.    We found that we liked the cronut without the ice cream a bit more than with, not exactly sure why but the tastes didn’t mix as well as we thought they would.   You can’t go wrong with either though, so be sure to give them a try next time you are in the park!

Favorite Food Friday – Violet Lemonade

DisneyDayByDay
Our Favorite Food This Week:  Frozen Desert Violet Lemonade
Location: Epcot Flower and Garden – Pineapple Promenade
Price: $2.75

Welcome to this week’s Favorite Food Friday where we share our favorite foods with our friends.   This week we go to Epcot’s Flower and Garden Festival to the Pineapple Promenade food booth.   This booth has become famous for the Dole Whip served with rum, but if you are looking for something nonalcoholic to cool off with, look no further than the Violet Lemonade.

Violet Lemonade

As you all remember on my last trip I was getting in touch with my purple side (American Tourister Purple Luggage), so I had to try the violet lemonade.   The violet lemonade is a great way to cool off as you stroll around World Showcase.   It was a perfect balance of Lemonade and other fruit flavors and we really enjoyed it.

What is your favorite food from the Festival this year?

Favorite Food Friday: Frushi

DisneyDayByDay
Our Favorite Food This Week:  Frushi

Location: Hanami – Epcot Japan Booth during Flower and Garden Festival
Price: $4.50

Welcome to this week’s Favorite Food Friday where we share our favorite foods with our friends.   This week we have been showing off our #DisneySide Epcot Flower and Garden Festival style.   This week we look at the Frushi – what is it?   Fruit Sushi 🙂    Even if you don’t like sushi, you are sure to love this dish if you like fruit.

Frushi

Frushi is Fresh Strawberries, pineapple, and cantaloupe rolled with coconut rice, atop a raspberry sauce sprinkled with toasted coconut and whipped cream.   Oh my gosh it’s oh so good you might want to make it at home.   The Disney Food Blog shared a recipe to do just that.    So when you are at the Flower and Garden festival be sure to try some of the foods and let us know what your favorite is.
