This week’s theme: Love this…..
You had to know with this week’s theme, I would have to go to food. This is one treat that I love at the Magic Kingdom, the Citrus Swirl. As a young boy we would visit the Magic Kingdom and I loved to see the Orange Bird at the Sunshine Tree Terrace. Often times we would get the Orange Bird cup which would always find it’s way into my luggage for the return trip home. I’m sorry all you Dole Whip fans out there, today I express my love for the Citrus Swirl. If you have not tried it, and you enjoy anything orange flavored, be sure to give it a shot – you will not be disappointed. Our Favorite Food This Week: Ice Cream Cookie Sandwich

Welcome to this week’s Favorite Food Friday where we share our favorite foods with our friends. Did you know that yesterday (August 4th) was National Chocolate Chip Cookie day?? How did you celebrate? If I was at the parks I would have celebrated with one of these massive Ice Cream Cookie Sandwiches 🙂 These guys consist of two oven fresh chocolate chip cookies and your choice of any flavor ice cream that they are currently serving. This means your treat can taste different with each visit, and watch for special events when they have fun flavors to try. I love these, but they do melt fast on these hot summer days, on this trip we had the luxury of enjoying it in the AC in the World Premiere Food Court at the All Star Movies Resort. You can also find these in the parks including the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor on Main Street USA at the Magic Kingdom. mmmm I bet you are wanting to celebrate this holiday now…..

Our Favorite Food This Week: All American Sundae

Welcome to this week’s Favorite Food Friday where we share our favorite foods with our friends. This week we are sticking around the Magic Kingdom and featuring another great dessert. As you wonder down Main Street USA you are bound to work up an appetite. One of our favorite places to stop is the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor. The parlor features many different varieties of ice cream treats. This week we are featuring the All-American Sundae which is filled with old-fashioned vanilla and chocolate ice cream with hot fudge, peanut butter drizzle, whipped cream, and a cherry. I know my mouth is watering too. The sundae is always amazing, but some days, like the one above, you may get a bit more topping than ice cream. Be sure to stop in at the Plaza on your next trip to the park.
