Welcome to Favorite Food Friday where we share our favorite foods.    Animal Kingdom food has really started to kick up this year.   New menu items have started to pop up and we are always looking for the next sweet treat.   On this visit to the park we checked out the Cannoli Cake, although not new, it was our first time checking this out.   First off, i wish that the cannoli on top of the cake was left off to the side rather than on the cake as ours had soaked up the moisture from the cake and was soggy.   Other than that, the cake was pretty good, the overall texture was more cheesecake than cake cake :).   If you are a fan of cannolis this would be something you would definitely want to try.   If you are at Animal Kingdom – where do you go for a quick sweet snack?

Disneyland always has the amazing Nightmare before Christmas overlay on Haunted Mansion, so it’s about time we see more Holiday Overlays at Walt Disney World.   This year, during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, select Magic Kingdom attractions are receiving special enhancements just for the holidays!

Tomorrowland Speedway is being decked out in thousands of lights and stylized decor.    Over at Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor, there will be an all-new show during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.   Mad Tea Party will kick it up a notch with a wild and wacky Christmas party filled with lights and music and the one I’m looking most forward to, Space Mountain will be filled with dazzling lights and high energy holiday music.

All this sounds amazing, to top it all off is the new “Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks” show.   So much to see, I can’t wait for the Holidays.    They will be here before you know it…….

Get tickets today for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. The party starts at Magic Kingdom Park on November 8 and is offered select nights through December 22, 2019.

Welcome to Favorite Food Friday where we share our favorite foods.    On Father’s Day, we spent the day floating along Castaway Creek at Typhoon Lagoon water park.   For lunch, we stopped in at Typhoon Tilly’s and I had the Fish Tacos.  I do enjoy a good fish taco.    These tacos are Battered Fish served in a Flour Taco Shell with Lettuce, Pico de Gallo and Chipotle Slaw.   Overall it was a good portion of fish and the chipotle slaw helped to wake up the taste buds.   I would order these again, just wish they had a baked version.     What do you like to eat at the water parks?
