Epcot Flower and Garden Festival Food

For those of you who find yourself at the Flower and Garden Festival without a care for either, this year you are in luck, there’s FOOD.   Yes this is the first year that Disney has incorporated food booths into the Flower and Garden Festival.   Be sure to look at the menus as you stroll the World Showcase and sample a few items.      As you begin your tour around World Showcase, after viewing the Monsters University topiary, turn to the left (we always go left) and be sure to check out the Pineapple Promenade.   This booth is sponsored by Dole, so guess what they have……. yes… Dole Whips.   There is even a Dole Whip with Spiced Rum……

Germany has a great setup with tables and chairs to enjoy your food.   Be sure to visit Bauernmarket: Farmer’s Market.   Here we tried the potato pancake and the meatloaf sandwich. For us the potato pancake won out.

Looking for some American flare, you will find The Smokehouse:  Barbecue and Brews.   Great pulled pork sliders and beef brisket.

Just outside of Japan you will find Hanami where we sampled the Fruishi which was very good.   This has fresh strawberries, pineapple and cantaloupe rolled with coconut rice, atop a raspberry sauce sprinkled with toasted coconut and whipped cream.   It was delicious.
