Main Street Electrical Parade

The Main Street Electrical Parade began its life at Disneyland in 1972.  Over the years it has been moved around to other parks with its last move to Walt Disney World Magic Kingdom in 2010.  In July of 2010 Disney announced that the parade would stay at Disney World until further notice.

The Main Street Electrical Parade is a nightly parade if weather permits at 9 pm and again at 11 pm when the park is open late.   Be sure to refer to your times guide for the exact times during your visit.    The parade makes its way down Main St. USA and around the hub before heading through Liberty Square and Frontierland.

Tinker Bell opens the parade and paves the way to magic with the wave of her hand.   With over a half a million shimmering lights and floats from favorite movies such as Alice In Wonderland, Pete’s Dragon, and Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, this is a truly magical parade and a fan favorite.   Be sure to find your spot early as the best seats/sidewalk go fast and enjoy the parade!
